A Pakistani Muslim friend of mine who happens to be bi has a problem, one day he decided to go to a gay bar to see if he can pick up a fit lad to get over breaking up with his gf but another guy from his town was there and recognised him.
My friend is in the closet but this other guy is open about his sexuality and he’s left his family so he’s got nothing to loose and he’s blackmailing my friend to go with him, he says if my friend doesn’t he’s threatening to tell his family and the rest of the Pakistani community.
Not only would my friend loose his izzat, he might also get killed, not neccesarily by his family for religious or cultural reasons but by homophobic Pakistani thugs who don’t normally care for culture/religion very much themselves but if it involves hurting someone they’ll take it up. Pakistani Chavs in the ghetto areas of Britain are dangerous, much like the Black thugs of NY.
