Why is it any of anyone else's business if they flock to the masjid on Fridays? Isn't it enough that they are at least making the effort to go to the masjid? Do you guys go to their houses and check how many prayers they've said in a day? In the end, it's between them and Allah Ta'ala. Stop making judgements like jumay ke jumay musalman. That's the same thing the very religious have towards the less religious when they call them "mod" muslims. Let's face, there's plenty within ourselves that we can better yet we don't.
It wasn't directed towards you, but a couple of replies in this thread. My heart fills with happiness when I see muslims rushing towards the masjid to get there in time for khutba. I often use to drop my brother at the masjid for jumah and just seeing so many skin tones, people from different parts of the world, all coming together for once purpose. To worship Allah Ta'ala. The feeling is inexplicable.
AQ - chaleiN hum sab "mod" muslim sahi. Aap kush raheiN Allah ke fazlo karam se.
That is true. And that is true for all 5 daily prayers in Haramen Shareefen. And that was true for all 5 daily prayers back in Prophet’s (:saw: ) time as well.
After looking at the spirit of Jummah, an idiom of urdu comes in mind Khandar bataataY haiN kaY imaarat shaandaar thee.
