Never noticed this, becuase it has no importance for me at least.

But, in your part of the world, how does people cater with this superstision ?

Have you heard any stories of anything bad from friend, colleague ?

What is the origin of this superstition ?

The origin of the superstition is to do with Christian beliefs. They believe that Jesus was put onto the cross on a Friday hence its not a good day. The number 13 is unlucky because there were 13 people present at the Last Supper. It is said that if 13 people dine together the first to stand will be the first to die.

All those people who believe in this superstition should be afraid of me as my birthday was 13th Friday.

OK, replace the word good with lucky. And I have no idea why Good Friday, is called Good Friday.

Good Friday because that Sunday (Easter Sunday) Jesus was resurrected from the cross.
