Did you watch Sweeney Todd with Johnny Depp? (I have a penchant for scary movies). I liked it. Not recommended for 4-year-olds, lol.
I love the red box! I heard 17 again sucked.
Shutter Island, I’ve heard the same reviews for it, but I want to see it anyway.
Drag me to Hell I loved, best horror/comedy movie ever ![]()
I’ve heard from a couple of people that 17 Again is a cute movie. It’s only a dollar some…I’m gonna check it out anyways, lol.
Shutter Island has an interesting concept. It’s not scary, but it’s suspenseful. There’s a twist to the story.
Drag Me to Hell was hilarious! Is it just me…or did you also feel like that old possessed woman was always trying to kiss the young lady who worked at the bank. I mean I know she was trying to kill her. But the old woman would always lunge at the younger own,…and land in a way that they’d both be mouth-to-mouth. And this happened a lot. I guess she was trying to throw up into her…that happened quite a bit, lol. Anyhow, I think the best part was when she digs the grave of the old woman and starts cursing her…really over the top dialog, hilarious!

You will get more suitable responses here I believe...
OMG yes! The entire time in the theater I was joking around about the old woman being a lesbian LOL
You know what part was just ridiculous? just when I was beginning to get a little scared during the part when the Hispanic lady, the girl, and the psychic and holding hands while sitting at the table, about to stab the goat..this guy sitting there gets possessed by the lamya and starts dancing to Irish music LOL what the heck was up with that?
Re: Friday June 25
i loved zombieland. alice in wonderland was meh. could be better. i watched she's out of my league, so disappointed :(
I was gonna write about that part as well. That was hilarious…but you’re right…just when I was getting a bit scared…busting out Irish moves…just totally killed it.
You know what other part was creepy? When the old woman (Sylvia Ganush) is in the office and Christine Brown tells her that the bank can’t give her an extension…and the old lady gets down and starts begging her…and grabs Christine’s skirt and starts kissing it??? Did you see that? That was freaky! Imagine someone doing that to you!
Another funny part was where Christine and her BF go to his parents’ house. And the BF’s dad brings up cats. And Christine says that “I used to have a cat.” And her BF’s like “What do you mean you used to have a cat? You still have a cat.” And there’s that awkward silence. LOL
It wasnt that bad…However the storyline was far different unexpected..The movie was ok…
I loved Zombieland, Avatar, How to train your dragon, Prince of persia…but Prince of persia had many things that they didnt put in the ones we are expecting…Disney Fatties ![]()

Yeah totally! that was freaky..and then she comes to choke her! jeez. I also had a blast watching their wrestling match in the car, that was fun! and I remember screaming the loudest when Christine see's Ganush lying down beside her in her nightmare :D

Oh, I remember telling my sister that that's one of the more common tactics used in scary movies (to look over n see some ghost/witch/possessed thing) lying next to you.
Another one that gives me the creeps is when you're looking in the mirror, and then you suddenly see someone's reflection.
An annoying tactic (another common one) in scary movies is how the lights are always turned off......even if it's only evening outside. Like in the The Ring, for example. LOL....sheesh turn the lights on....it's not that late in the night yet...are you trying to conserve electricity or something.
Oh...and it irritates me when one of the good guys finds out that someone they trusted is "evil" and feels the need to confront the person. For example, a girl finds out her boyfriend is a serial killer....and decides to confront him. Stupid move (shakes head)....cuz you're gonna be "next."
