Re: fresh wave of target killings in Karachi
Are quaid and altaf two different personalities?![]()
Re: fresh wave of target killings in Karachi
I agree they are not just killings shias only .. alot of other people too have been killed in target killings ...
but one cant deny.. that there has been a targeted campaign against Shias ever since last yr. shias were are and will remain a persecuted class in Pakistan
in the recent years how many shia engineers, doctors, advocates ... were killed cuz of who they are. form the shia hazara community, Parachinar to target killings in Karachi!
and one just fails to understand WHY and who is really behind all this?? and why do people and our so called police protect these criminals?
Re: fresh wave of target killings in Karachi
Are quaid and altaf two different personalities?:)
I was just referring to correct script... :) BTW: It leaves different impact if you say Quaid ka ghaddar. It leads to more compliance and submission.
Re: fresh wave of target killings in Karachi

This is not Bhattah but Bhatta type Chanda which ST is collecting.
My Muslim brothers of Shia sect are target of everyone .

what is this mqm-ST and PST?
Re: fresh wave of target killings in Karachi
ST= Sunni Tehreek. PST = Pakistan Sunni Tehreek (due to recent announcement of ST to convert the party to a political party, the name has been changed to PST).
I don't think we need to define MQM. Its not obviously Hum TV's Mere Qatil Mere (Dildar)

Re: fresh wave of target killings in Karachi
**
KARACHI: **At least 10 more people were gunned down in drive-by shootings in Karachi, where about 30 people have lost their lives in fresh sectarian and political violence in January.
A Shia from Gilgit-Baltistan, Naeem Abbas, 26, who had arrived in Karachi two months ago, was shot in Gulistan-e-Jauhar. A vegetable seller from Swat, Omar Rahman, 40, was shot dead in Bawani Chali.
A 56-year-old watchman Mohammad Ahmed was gunned down and his brother Sameer, 26, was injured in a drive-by shooting in Ramswamy. Twenty-four-year-old Amir was gunned down in Yousuf Goth. Three men in their car were ambushed and killed by armed motorcyclists in Sector 5 near the Bachat Bazaar as well.
A receptionist and security guard were killed and at least three others were wounded when men attacked a Telenor franchise in North Nazimabad. This was the fourth time terrorists have attacked franchises of telecommunication companies, in what the police say is a Tehreek-i-Taliban extortion racket.
Elsewhere, a retired captain, who worked as a dermatologist, was gunned down near Malir Railway crossing. The 62-year-old Dr Ashfaq Ahmed Qazi was on his way to his clinic. Police suspected sectarian motives as he subscribed to the Deoband school of thought and his two sons are muftis at Darul Uloom, Korangi.
Re: fresh wave of target killings in Karachi
Was at funeral of Dr Ashfaq Qazi , a Dr belonging to tablighi jamaat who was murdered yesterday, although he was a known person and had a very large funeral , Shaikh taqi usmani lead the prayers, there were no law and order issues.
Calling these killings as shia killings is not correct , i personaly know many persons killed last week , moulana abdus samad soomoro , and some others. It is a pity that these killings are never highlighted like the shia killings, i believe there is a certain agenda in this , governed by those involved in killings.
Just pray situation dont get worst, Baghdad /Faluja script seems to be replayed.
Re: fresh wave of target killings in Karachi
Lets just hope that sitution gets back to normal ... it just destroy the peace of the city and the economy suffers big time. hope the culprits are caught and should be hanged, no trial whtsoever!
Re: fresh wave of target killings in Karachi
A lot of posts about a few political murders of people belonging to political organizations. Few posts about sectarian murders of common people belonging to no organization or party.
Shows the insensitivity of general Pakistani population towards the plight of sectarian terrorists.
Unfortunate and pathetic.
These sectarian murders escalated in 90s in Karachi. The count used to be 6 to 10 people a day.
At that time I witnessed a sense of apathy from general populace about sectarian terrorism. When these murders were mentioned to people, they would simply shrug off their shoulders, calling it a fight between shias and Sipahe Sahaba. I tried to make others realize that violence is dangerous to society. Today the victims may be others but tomorrow it could be themselves. If this violence towards specific community goes unpunished then this monster of terrorism can engulf the whole country.
No one paid attention to this thought. We continued to support Taliban, Qaeda, LeT, and others.
Eventually the country paid heavy price.
It looks like not much has changed since then. Same attitudes. Same apathy towards sectarian terrorism.
Re: fresh wave of target killings in Karachi
just read this "Mufti Naeem of Karachi Providing Logistic Support , shelter and Funds, for Latest Karachi shia killing project meeting organized in a ''Madarsa Arabia Islamia Scout Colony Gulshan e iqbal Block 4 Karachi ‘’
so basically the host and the guest are saying these animals come from jang-Punjab
and that Punjab govt is not willing to take any action against the culprits??? … wow

Exactly, nothing has changed over the years! ... from Hazara community, Parachinar to Karachi, these animals are roaming around free and ISI/GOVT/POLICE no one is willing to take an action ... its not like they dont know who is behind all this and who are these people .. they know everything! ... its just they do not want to do anything ... sick and disturbing! ... insaan ki kio value nahi Pakistan men !! ... my city which was once city of lights ... is now burning in ashes!

Not true, as i know the controls at Mufti naeem madressa -Jamia Binoria - are very tight due to large number of foreign students,
Let us not overlook the polictical involment in this, faisal raza abidi,Shehla Raza, and many others who came very openly on many occasions, like the killing of askari raza.
I know people living near faisal raza house in gulistan e jauher and know how they harbour sipah e muhammad terrorist.
It is not a one sided affair as some propogate, just hope that culprits from both sides are hanged in public.
PS: there are regular events of abusive wall chalking(For khulfa rashideen and Ummhat ul momineen) in interior sindh, some areas of karachi and local trains, this should be stopped as this just widens the gaps between the two sects).
Re: fresh wave of target killings in Karachi
This is not correct.
Ulema
To list a few ulema that a personaly knew. There is a large list of Dr (Dr Ashfaq Qazi Was killed 2 days ago),Lawyers and many more. It is just that the media portrays this as one sided affair, *shayad aglay rotay bhi bohat hain
*Believe me the plan is to make every sunni think just like sipah people think, if that happens this will be a disastor, we should try not to make this happen, try stopping hate speech at Imambargahs and resultantly in masajids.

Don't know why OP bring MQM in this from starting of thread without any logic or prove MODs better to keep eyes on those who trying to bring up false statement to just hit any proper party. Neither MQM or PPP in this position to start this kind of unrest in Karachi specially elections are comming soon. Everyone know who is behind this and the reasons of it. So I'm requesting to avoid put any hateful materials to gain nothing but just self satisfaction of bring up your hates for some. Mods better check the every fresh thread and try to figure out the mentality behind it.
