Heavy whipping cream is fine. The recipe i use asks for 1 cup of that and 1 cup of milk but i the cream for both (just to get rid of it).
Do you mean the kind that comes in a can and you shake it and put it on top of stuff? cz whipping cream and whipped cream are different (same i mean but different texture)..btw next time i will definitely try it your way, with sour cream..
