Any of you freeze these two things, how long do you freeze them for.
Does the ras malai turn watery, what abt gulab jamuns do they turn soggy.
Pls share your experience or tips if you have done this with homemade ras malai or gulab jamun.

not possible why ladies :( ..... frozen ras malai aur gulab jamun bazaar mein miltey hain ( I never tried them but I have seen them)

why don't you call in any popular cooking show and ask one of the chefs may be they give you a good advise.
no pakistani channels where I live...and plus I trust guppies :) ...their advise has yet to let me down... mashAllah
I have never tasted these myself.... ammi makes the best desserts but ammi is not around so am trying them myself and if the batch turns out good I wanna freeze it....

I think Jamuns should be fine. Just fry them and freeze them. Then when you are ready to use them, make fresh syrup, and dip the well defrosted balls in. They should be just fine.
Regards Rasmalai.. I dont think anything goes wrong with Rasmalai after freezing it. Coz I have done it a few times in the past and it comes out ok… the thing is its already dipped in milk and even if it turns slightly waterish, the difference isnt much noticeable. The taste is great even after the defrost

I have frozen gulab jamuns for a few weeks and they do fine. Thaw them for half hour before serving.
