Freezing Aatta?

I like to make a large quantity of AAtta in my kitchenaid mixer. But I never quite know how to make the aatta last for a few days. Do I freeze it? Just refrigerate it? Any other tips to make it seem fresh again when I roll out rotis?

why don't you make rotis and freeze them instead of freezing atta??? I have never heard of freezing atta....

array u can freeze ataa ofcourse,,like take 2 cup ataa and after gounding,,make ball and freeze it..try it, b4 making roti defrost it..

i've heard someone in my family used to freeze aata......she used to do it in summers in pakistan when usually the aata goes "khameer"....(like gets fermented...)she used to freeze it and then defrost it ....made fine rotis....but i've just heard ,never tried....

yeh Chips is right ,ucan freez aata but make sure to bringit out from freezer half an hour before making roti,but jo bat freah aattai main hoo gee it will not be in freezing aatta.

Never heard about freezing ata, but here's one tip how you can keep your ata from going bad.
When you knead the ata, apply some oil on the top and cover it with a malmal piece soaked in vinegar.

I used to freeze aata all the time.

Just prepare, freeze in air-tight container and then the day before you need to use it, remove from freezer and thaw in fridge over-night.
