Freezer..Chest or Upright

Any guppans who store food in stand alone freezer unit? What kind of freezer do you have? And how do you organize it if its a chest freezer? Also share your experiences in having an extra freezer at home… What all do you store in it

we got two, upright + chest, i prefer chest.

Upright is good for home use . Easy to organize and put the things in and take them out. Chest is good for retailers and bad for your back.

Definitely upright, its very hard to see what u looking for in a chest freezer cos by the time u need someething its covered by other stuff. However, chest freezers have got loads of space and usually a better temperature than upright.

Upright all the way, better for your back and you see everything you have more easily than chest.

I think its personal pref. my mum's got chest one and my mil's got upright. i don't have any :D

Chest has baskets that slide away to give access to the bottom .. its for more deep freezing as you tend to open it less .

we just have chest and a regular refrigrator with a slide out freezer
