Freedom

Define freedom. What does it mean to you? What exactly do YOU consider being free?

To me, freedom = oxygen.

Being able to practice your religion, express yourself freely, sit, stand, walk, talk (to whom you like), eat, drink what you like, when you like, think, move around, being able to TRAVEL whenever you like, do what you like & not do what you don’t like… In short, being able to carry your existence just the way you like, breathe in fresh air is freedom = oxygen.

People who have not experienced not being free can’t value freedom because they don’t know its worth.

Freedom is, simply, non-coercion. If whatever I do is a voluntary act then I am free. Whenever I am coerced into an act I am not free.

we never gona get full freedom

Hmm. Defining freedom is hard. The philosophical definition doesnt mean freedom has no boundaries or no discipline. I think it only means no suppression.

I can share my last experience of feeling freedom but dont want to twist the thread so would only say yes I do know how freedom feels, just hard to put in words.

Is the word freedom originated from Free + Dominance? That will define it

An environment… opposite ideas welcomed without having personal attacks… it include views, religion, culture and all walk of life.
