I think you missed the point. Out 2 billion people if only 0.01% react to such extreme provocation than that is still 200,000 people. Everyone knew that there would be a reaction, only the scale of the reaction was debatable.

The other point that you are missing is that the U.S could and should have convicted the people responsible and if necessary it should bring in new laws like in did in regards to the funerals of military personnel. If any other group had been offended e.g the jews then you could have expected a sure response from the government of the U.S.

That shows your utter lack of knowledge.

Not surprising coming from a person who accuses anyone who doesn’t share his viewpoint as a non-muslim. Quite childish in my opinion.

In the US you can indeed ridcule Jews to your heart’s content. You might get fired from your job but you won’t go to jail.

And US has Freedom of Speech and thus they cannot persecute people.

I am sorry if US will not be implementing Blasphemy Laws. Don’t how us people living in the west will survive without them.

US should definitely look at successful countries like Pakistan where there is communal harmony, religious tolerance, peace and prosperity, protector of human and minority rights as an inspiration to change its own laws.
