Hating someone and physically harming property or people are two different things.

precisely my thoughts. looking at it from law and order perspective, shouldnt the law favour peace and tranqualitiy over the freedom to express drivel that benefits no one and creates rifts among community and all for the sake of some sense of mouthing off what we please.
having said that death threats, lawlessness and torching isnt what an inelligent person will do however the world unfortunately has many who donot fall into this category. so in my opinion one who casts off the first stone is always responsible. people readily sue others on spreading rumours and slander agaimnst themselves so why expect silence when it comes to religious figures?
