West is liberal in expressing ideas without any fear, while eastern culture is opposite and general or common population get resistance.
Freedom of expression does not mean freedom of insult. What do you think about both freedoms and which culture use them more and labeling freedom of insult as freedom of expression.

It has been discussed for years, but society hasn't learnt much.
You are allowed to say nasty things about the group of people which is at that moment most disliked in society, everyone calls that freedom of expression. Yet, you say those exact same words about other people, then suddenly it is called insulting.
That's the way it always was, that's the way it probably will remain, unfortunately. Many people forget that freedom of expression doesn't mean you can insult other people in the most terrible way.
