Rain falls through the thick trees
The storm resembles tears, that
I have forgotten to cry
A test this will be
Holding still through the night
Without even a single fright
Depression is my plague

In candle light I wait

As I look, so I find
Through the window, and
out into the bleak dreary night
I see the dark, thick clouds
Folding over the horizon
My eyes close as I
pace around the dim room
My mind begins to tinker
Conjuring the thought
that fate is a choice, and
I should not try to rival
the inevitable smile
With this I feel light
through my wincing eyes
I open and to my suprise
light has returned
the storm, adjourned
through this, I learned
A simple smile
Makes life worthwhile---- :)
