i got a scar like freckles or melasma on my cheeks after pregnancy. i am also applying mela-rid cream over it since last 2 months but there is no improvement. i m also taking skin brightening capsules.
i feel so embarrased when people point it out on my cheeks.
please share any effective home remedy .i am so worried

You should use products with lactic acid or salicylic acid, that will really help. Well I had acne scars back then so I used this neostrata spot treatment which had 2% salisylic acid in it & my skin was literally shedding after using this.
Do you have dry skin?

See your Doctor and ask if they could prescribe Hydroquinone 4% but you must know the risks before using it. Laser can help melasma too. Kojic Acid and Glutathione might have some role. From purely a Medical point of view, the only evidence based options are Hydroquinine, Tretinoin with Steroid, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, dermabrasion, Kojic acid, Azelaic acid, Laser and phototherapy.
Best to see a Dermatologist.
