Anyone heard any rumors of frats/sor’s at their colleges?Coming under fire quite a bit. Some of the stories surfacing are heinous.

Point being that while there are serious issues at some chapters but as a whole the Greek have a positive impact, Greek systems at some campuses have issues and it may be a couple of chapters so while it is critical that the university Greek system and chapters and their national HQ are asked to do more, the negativity of such incidents overshadow all the positives that so many have experienced, contributions made and impact to society at large. Just something to think about.

Bill Maher had a segment on this topic. He stated these frat boys don’t have much individuality. Too much group think apparently.
Also drinking appears to be their main hobby.

Well he also called them a cult similar to ISIS.
Pandering to cheap viewership ratings seems to have taken any logic from the man.
Luckily enough stats exist that negate his ill informed (purposefully) opinion that it’s just irrelevant.
Service hours for charities, funds raised, higher average GPA, significantly higher graduation rates than average are enough for starters.

I missed the part where he said they were cult like isis. He may have called them cult tounge in cheek (or is it tounge in check).
I wonder if higher grad dates and gpa are be a use the frat boys come from upper class background. And have their education paid for by parents
