I don’t think banning niqab in classrooms or offices is a big deal…even in Egypt many places don’t allow niqab. But in France you can’t go out in niqab at all and that’s very concerning when it comes to human rights and personal freedom.

What French are doing is wrong and there should not be anyban of Hijab:), My answer was in context of India, and I personally don’t agree with Burqa in classroom, exam-hall and any place where one’s identity is to be confirmed like banks and airport:), at least they should show there faces to confirm their identities:)

It is my understanding this rule was put in place for security reasons, especially in public places, esp airports. I have not seen anyone in the US in a public place wearing a Nikab.

Personally, it has never bothered me when women in India wore a Nikab. Never gave it a thought, Live and let live. More serious problems in life.

We are culturally used to it hence no body ever cares:), this may not be the case with france:)
