^Yeah and I believe its not only European countries hesitant to issue visas, other countries like US and Canada are same. The policies are gone very strict :( and our govt is never ever gonna do anything to make these visas thingy easy for us be-qasooors :(

As per my knowledge, they are simply not issuing any visas to pakistanis other than ofcourse to students. Not even PhD students can get visas for their spouses (no matter how much scholarship or money you have) even if you have to live for 4 years.
I don't know why the "love" for pakistanis, but I think its probably due to the crappy repute that we have earned worldwide. Although, I think pakistani students have set a very good example here with their hard work and abide-by-the-rules life here in France.
ok so now i am here, finally, but the same, i took admission, applied for student visa.... got my visa last august and came here, doing master now alhamdulillah :)
but i dont know why they are so strict khair i agree with u, the crappy repute :(
but u know what, the professors here really really like the pakistani students, they have a great image here, hardworking and intelligent :)
except me ofcourse hehe, i m just taking benefit of the already-built image.... so i really have to work hard to prove pakistani students are good :)
