France providing Eurocopter Tiger Attack Helicopter to Pakistan

ahh still blabbing...its really getting boring now...anyways...i hope the readers knowledge is enhanced somehow thanx to ur misinformation on all subjects...

The weaponary that works for any country is the amount of training done by that country with its weaponary, its not the machine but the man behind the machine.

If all the world goes after battle tested stuff, then there will be no progress at all in bringing new platforms, changing ur mindset at this stage would be a really good idea.Pakistan is already looking for replacements of cobras, contrary to ur statement,ASUSUAL ! 30 new generation attack helicopters are being sought at,cost, reliability and maintainence again being a big issue. The Tiger has been offered by the France but its still not confirmed.the numbers and deal isnt on the cards yet also.

Whats more is that,Pakistan defence aquistions has been following a very economical pattern, use the chinese frame but fill it up with western electronics(in high end defence weaponary). The examples include JF-17,FC-20,Al-Khalid,Al-Zarrar etc.

Puma is due to be retired, the replacement in Army Aviation is Mi-17.In the meanwhile the Bell 417 and Bell 407 are being acquired also but most of them came in aid due to WOT and have spent half of their life time already.

C-130 is for tactical uplift, and spec ops missions. It is a rugged plane and can land in rough patches.PAF has aquired Y-12 transport aircraft from China and the AWACS system will be based on Y-8 plane.

The P-3C Orion plane will be future AWACS/AEW for the Pakistan Navy. The plane will be used for another 2 decades until replacements are sought. The naval aviation has already started shifting towards chinese planes by acquiring Z-9 transport choppers. The new frigates F-22P will again be Chinese, however the subs will be german U-214.The ones already in service are french Agosta 90-B.

F-16 can only come up to the lethal level after being upgraded while newer ones are sought. The main BVR plane that Pakistan current flies is the JF-17 and Mirage3/5.The plane that is better than F-16 anyday for PAF is the JF-17 and in future will be the Chinese FC-20 which PAF wil use for high altitude BVR engagements and long range strike missions. The F-7PG is the most up to dated version of the Mig-21 series which is the best point defence fighter that PAF flies right now.The acquistion of FC-20 from China will start the retiring process of the F-7 and Mirage series aircraft. There is a huge difference between F-7 from China and Mig-21 from Russia.i suggest u read the differences online to post a proper discussion response.

The US 155mm guns used by pakistan army have been inducted since 1950's upto 1980's.There was no aquistion of 155mm guns after that.Mainly the 122/130mm Chinese guns have been inducted and used in Mountain regions of AK,which have proved a reliable platform for the Artillery.

The telecom equipment that came from US is not being used as we were not provided with source codes and uS can very easily do eavesdropping on all communication. The Signals Corps uses the PK-786 set(Bismillah set) which has been aquired from China.

The NV equipment came as aid package to Pakistan and no money was paid for it.anything free is always welcome.

Now that I have answered ur post, try and get my point !

Pakistan has stopped depending on US/EU weaponary mostly, the mistakes in past are bound not to repeat again by pakistan. This has given birth to the projects like JF-17,Al khalid,Al zarrar, F-22P etc with Chinese collboration. If pakistan had depended upon western equipment forever, then we would never have become independant of them in many areas, and slowly and gradually pakistan will start producing all the weaponary by itself inshALLAH.

China has stood with us through our tough times and has never damaged us or our economy, infact their invesments in many key projects of pakistan have enabled our defence and many related industries to prosper. It must be seen that how China has progressed since the 1990's.The defence aquistions of Pakistan has been mostly american before 1990's, especially in 1950's and 1980's.This had led to many problems with spares, upgrades and replacements of the western weaponary.China came forward and rescued Pakistan by initiating the JF-17 project,an aircraft project totally built with PAF requirements,a luxury PAF couldnt enjoy with any other country. The Al-Khalid project,a Type 90II MBT along with upgradation of T-59's to Al-Zarrar standards have again come to life with Chinese assistance. The F-22P Frigate project with the Navy is a headstart for surface combatants of the PN.The future of Pakistan Armed forces is aquistion of weapon delivery systems from China and edging away from western dependancy.Although its true that China may not be able to cater for all defence needs of Pakistan as its more economical to upgrade existing systems than acquire a whole new platform.such have been the cases with F-16,P-3 orion and some other western tech etc.China doesnt have answer to our needs for a few weapon systems mentioned by you,but till the next decade it surely will as with the rapid speed that their industry is progressing.

China has helped finance defence projects with soft loans and economical investments with Pakistan. The newer 18 F-16's blk 52+ that PAF is getting is also to acquire the AIM-120C5,JHMCS and JDAMS that are part of the 5.1 Billion $ package. This strategy has been seen in Navy also by making AWACS platforms of P-3C Orions.

if u want still want to remain in the western slave mentality,ur my guest forever.

Yeap. this repoly does reflect the emotional status of a 14 years old.

Again 14 years’ old responses. Or perhaps too much tabloid rags have gotten in this knee jerk reply.

India didn’t attack because both India and Pak run to the USA and when USA tells Pak and India to “back off”, they do so in a flash. Collin Powel just gave one warning to India (by imposing travel ban) and they said Maharaj hum jaa rahain hain wapis barracks main.

Events from Kargil episode and later terror issues clearly show that Indians do not care about Pak nukes because they feel India can win the nukie duel. They obviously have more depth than us. We can counter that by using long range missiles.

However the true guarantee of Pak borders comes from our military and our military’s Western supplied weapons. Nukes are just bunch of toys in the big scheme of things.

Russia had 1000s more nukie toys and it still collapsed. We should learn from their experience and work very hard to improve our economy.

Nukie bumbs are just dumb @r$e liability for Pak economy.

The 2002 ordeal cost lives of 800 indian soldiers without firing a shot.So India is such a lame country that it lets its 800 soldiers die for nothing and then backs off under US pressure? thats wrong.Neither USA nor India are on Pakistan's side.counting Israel also in now, none of them can digest that Pakistan is an nuclear state.US does maintain pressure over Pakistan and India but thats limited and doesnt apply to certain scenarios.Infact no one certainly knows what happens behind closed doors where decision for nations are made.
Events after Kargil episode clearly show India's desperation to hit back on Pakistan as a revenge which brings the RAW"s drama's to life.
RAW has tried several dramas to blame Pakistan for incidents happening in India, unfortunately they create a drama but cannot carry it to the end. The first one being hijacking of plane in 2000,second one being attack on parliament in 2001...recent one the mumbai attacks.
While CIA is trying to prove that the nukes will fall in the hands of Taliban,RAW has been trying to create a diversion altogether which cheap bollywood type
productions.

U r again wrong in assuming the depth of nuclear attack.Pakistan posses long range ballistic missiles that reach every nook and corner of india, apart from that aircraft are another delivery platform.A nuclear attack doesnt demands 1st strike with full fledge power so the defender cannot retaliate, basically crippling the defender in the first blow.u honestly think if Islamabad strikes India, then it will hit 1 or 2 areas and then wait for response?NO.thats not how nuclear weapons are used.

The nuclear arms are a deterrent for any aggressor.India knows that Pakistan Armed Forces are smaller in number and stocks(especially WESTERN) are low.and the western supplied weaponary will be crippled once sanctions are imposed. Thus Pakistan will resort to missile/nuke weapons sooner than India may think.

The collapse of Russia has got nothing to do with nukes,as it was a different ball game altogether and suggesting such example in Pak-India scenario is not viable.

Considering Nuke as bunch of toys is again lack of knowledge on ur part.I once again suggest that u read well before u post on sensitive topics.
