France-Ivory Coast-Freedom of Speech

France was labeled as hypocritical because they b1tched about U.S sending troops without U.N resloution Lou Dobbs 11/09/2004), and did just that in Ivory Coast. Pot calling a kettle black. :bukbuk2:
Very civilized nations I must say, they really adhere to the sermons they preach.
Examples:
Freedom of speech doesn’t apply to journalists anymore (Judith Miller of NY times about to be imprisoned, but Bob Novak the main leaker still yapping). Freedom of speech is necessary but not for Al-Jazeera. Freedom of speech is good when American-Jews rejoice that their spy will be released to Israel, and Arafat will be dead, but god forbid if a muslim expresses something mildly close to that (hell I went to book store and asked for a book “Globalized Islam” written by a french author Olivier Roy and the looks I got were unbelievable as if I had exposed myself in public).
I like Howard Stern (not a fan) he is a cool idiot, but was fired, banned because of freedom of speech yet Oprah winfrey was allowed (what can I tell you Colin Powells son must like oprah).
Frenchies are very liberal so liberal that they are offended by a head scarf  gimme a break. Sounds pretty much like Taliban (that mandated beards) doesn’t it.

This should be a green light for Musharraf to go in to Kashmir (he doesnt need U.N).

pakistan not restrained by un because it will end up in wider indo-pak
war.

I was trying to make a point and did a poor job; that if every country does what it wants, then why do we need U.N. I fully understand the Indo-Pak complication. The point that I was trying to make was that in 1998 Kargil crisis U.N was being dragged in to put a stop. Well now that the superpowers don't respect U.N why should any other country.
IMHO in order for U.N to fully function Security Council needs to be dismantled and veto powers need to be taken away.
U.N tries to impose democractic govts all over the world yet the body itself is not democratic.
