Well, lets see what would be the possible outcome of this drama…to be consistent with its actions against the muslim community , french administration may have to ban skih students from covering their heads too. I am keen to see the end result. I personally think that french government is on the wrong side of this social stigma…

Hearing Over Sikh Pupils’ Hair

A French court has ordered a Paris school to hold a disciplinary hearing to decide whether three Sikh pupils would be expelled or allowed to cover their uncut hair despite a new ban on religious signs in schools.
Disciplinary hearings held around France this week have expelled at least 10 Muslim schoolgirls after negotiating with their families to try to convince them to uncover their hair.
French officials overlooked the country’s small Sikh community when drafting the ban on “conspicuous religious symbols” in state schools, during a heated debate about the growth of Islamist influence among young Muslims.
The ban came into force last month.
