In a bold move that is likely to be much discussed in coming days, Fox News said today that it will not cover the burning of the Quran on Saturday if Pastor Terry Jones follows through on his plan to burn copies of Islam’s sacred book.

Well, I hate Fox news for every valid reason. But this is the right move. The guy just wants attention and he'll back out if media bycotts him.

I used to hate Fox News too because as a journalist we are told that Fox News organisation is the devil and they are leaders in Agenda Setting and distort other people's words etc (they are notorious for doing that by the way) but this is EXCELLENT if they actually go through with this. Media boycott is exactly what he needs.

US pastor Terry Jones cancels Koran burning
The pastor of a small US church who wanted to burn copies of the Koran has cancelled his protest.
Terry Jones said he was calling off the Florida event after the group behind a planned mosque close to Ground Zero in New York agreed to relocate it.
Mr Jones had said the burning would be a stand against terrorism, but his plan was internationally condemned.
President Barack Obama had warned Mr Jones the event would be “a recruitment bonanza” for al-Qaeda.

Did they condemn him at all? Nothing in this article suggests that.

When I first heard of the news, that is offcourse before 11 september 2010, i thought of
just one incident. I hope u people have read Surah Feal in Quran when attackers attacked
Khana Qa'aba ,the House Of Allah and Allah sent Aba-beels to teach them a lesson. So all
people who want to mess with Islam and Quran should be aware that they are in direct fight
with Allah and that InshaAllah soon they will be taught lesson
I think this news was just to lit match for a worldwide fire , but they didn't succeed. What's the purpose of taking revenge in this form after 9 years? I think probably they want to show their hatred for ground zero mosque but then this Pastor who said so must resign from his licence because what he is teaching the world is no where written in the Bible > that to destroy peace of world.
