Four killed in Israeli air crash

**Four people have been killed in a helicopter crash off the coast of Israel, police say.**The civilian aircraft, believed to be carrying tourists, crashed off Sironit Beach, close to the city of Netanya.

Rescue workers were alerted to the crash in the Mediterranean Sea at about 1430 (1232 GMT).

Police say four bodies, including that of the pilot, have been recovered. A British passport was also found. The victims’ names have not been released.

Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said the cause of the crash was probably mechanical failure.
