Re: Fountain Pen
I caused a great big miss everytime I tried to use fountain pens.
I tried using Parker fountain pens but kept breaking the nib, then I developed a craving for ink
so ammi made me switch to ballpoint.

pen choices show where people may have grown up.
I am surprised no one has rotring yet, after highschool my fav pen by far.
Re: Fountain Pen
so at ur time even in highskool n also in post secondary HS u used Fountain pen?
well i only see fountain pen in Pakistan skool. they start using it grade 5. but ball points were strictly prohibited.
whereas i see ball points are used ONLY, oh well mainly in secondary n also in post seconday education outside of Pakistan.
Re: Fountain Pen
I like writing with fountain pens, they are just more refined than ballpoints or ghastly rollerballs. Now it does not mean I dont have ballpoint pens for everyday use, but for a nice handwritten note or a letter, fountain pen is my instrument of choice. the fcat that I used or liked fountain pens at any time did not mean I also did not use ballpoint pens.
and I sign all my important papers with a very special fountain pen, it is a gold shaeffer pen bought by my dad when I started school and he gave it to me when I graduated from university.
Re: Fountain Pen
u dont have to give me justifications for ball points. i just wanted to know the trend at ur time.
p.s. u know there are good ink removers. so is ur gold shaeffer run-off some gold while signing important papers. ![]()
p.s. i am not jealous. apun was master in gumaing shaefferz ![]()
