Revlon Colour Stay has good reviews, you can also try Loreal True match or if you want something lighter feel you can try Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse .. (Believe me, i am very new to make up too I don’t wear often except concealer, so i did lots of research and watched lots of reviews on foundation hehe)
BB cream stands for ‘Blemish Balm’ but , it has suncreen, moisturizer and is very good for as covering up and nourishing you can try L’Oreal BB cream..
Thanks! Compact can be used straight away? Or some kind of foundation should be applied underneath?
Well personally i don't like powder make up. Usually what is said is you can apply it on AFTER your liquid foundation it's like a finishing touch and will keep your foundation on place and won't produce lines and stuff :)
This one has gotten some serious reviews online and in person from people. I suggest using the Sonia Kashuk blending sponge to apply it. Its not hard to use…you can find YouTube tutorials to learn. Go to Target for the sponge.
I tried MUFE HD and it just wasn’t creating that canvas I like. The other issue was…I couldn’t get a proper color match for my skin…the lighter one is too light and the darker one is too dark. One thing I am noticing is that the newer foundations are just so damn orange these days.
What I am liking about the one I have right now - the Ultra is that it stays put and is very smooth. In fact…I haven’t used concealer since getting this AND I also use MUCH less product.
I haven’t tried Graftobian or CS…but I have heard good things about BOTH. I do know that I like the Mehron products so far…I have a blush palette that is literally PURE color…like un-adultered color that stays wherever you put it. Its amazing and I use it with caution because its potent. My sister had no idea it was that strong and just started applying it like her normal foundation…and ended up with two bright dots on her cheeks! That Tattoo Ring is awesome too. I might try some Graftobian products out…I am tempted to go for their airbrush kit.
^NC 30-35 in MAC and 330 Natural Tan in Colorstay, however i've noticed that I look a little too tan with that shade of colorstay sometimes so I might go lighter. Since you're NC 25 you definitely have to go one shade lighter. I'm not quite sure which one that would be, but i'll let you know as soon as I find out.
@ Reha: Have you tried Estee Lauder Double Wear or any of the Chanels? They didn't match me perfectly but I loved the coverage and staying power (theirs tend to be more pink toned). Years ago I used to have Chanel and loved it. The I had is discontinued now. But they generally get good reviews too.
I have the Graftobian warm #2 palette (waiting gon #1). The color match was perfect and the texture is VERY creamy and blendable. However, it looked cakey on me. But keep in mind that I've never used cream foundation before and am just learning how to apply with a sponge. And you MUST set it with a powder. For now I definately plan on using the palettes to contour/highlight.
Guys I went to see revlon and they have lots of stuff. I got so confused lol
They even have mineral thingy. Is that good?
Now I’m thinking to go for one liquid foundation, and then (mineral powder, compact etc suggest me one) and I need a new blush too.
lots of makeup shopping …
