I’m a MAC NC35 in studio fix, I’ve been wanting to buy a kryolan TV paint stick for some time. I’ve been to the stores and tried them on, but I don’t know anyone who’s very good at makeup and I couldn’t tell the difference between any of the three shades I tried. Can someone on here please tell me what shade in kryolan would be a good match?
I don't know any stores near me that carries this so I've never tried it. But I'm surprised that you couldn't pick a shade after trying them in person yet you think someone here who has never seen you can give you an exact match.
The store didn't have any sales associate who could simply tell you what color matches your skin best? If not then why don't you take a friend with you? You don't have to be an "expert" simply to see whether the foundation matches your skin once its on or if it looks too light/dark etc. Put one shade on half the face and a 2nd shade on the other half. And if both the shades for some reason looks identical to your skin tone…..then just pick one.
I'm a makeup artist and I'm myself a nc35. A good match for me is 4W in winter and 5W in summer. I also can wear fs38 all year long. Fs45 is way too light in my opinion. Hope this helps :)
Thank you girls for the nice, helpful responses. I asked an MUA I met in real life and she also recommended fs38 for me. Also, I just found this tool called temptalia’s foundation matrix. It doesn’t have kryolan but has many other brands of foundation that you can cross-match. Here’s the link, in case someone wants to find out what shade of foundation they are in one brand, based on their shade in another brand Foundation Matrix - Foundation Color Match, Foundation Makeup
