I’m in dire need of a good foundation and i’m not even joking. I have 8-9 but none of them are nice. I want something that doesn’t go dark. It just stays the same and has heavy coverage. It’s for parties and shadis. Plesae people haaaaaaaaaaalp me ![]()

try dior. i chkd out their nude one and it was nice but i prefered their tinted moisturiser bt cudnt find my match. i stick with chanel's aqua vitalumiere cuz that's the most light and natural looking foundation i have come across.

Re: foundation help
Bobbi Brown Foundation Sticks, great coverage and staying power.
Re: foundation help
Gina, is it true that the concealer shud be a shade or two lighter than your foundation?
Re: foundation help
Depends on the area you need to conceal, if you use a concealer that's 2-3 shades lighter on very dark circles it'll end-up looking grey. A green tinted concealer is used to conceal very red skin. But if you just need a little coverage under-the-eyes, around the nose and around the mouth then a shade lighter works best.
Re: foundation help
I just picked up MUF .... love it.
Re: foundation help
I’ve heard a ton of great things about their foundations.
I’ve started a foundation hunt for myself as well. I have been experimenting a lot with different brands so I am breaking out a bit along my chin area and there is a lot of redness around my nose and cheeks because of this weather.
I found a combination of these two things gave me skin that looked like it was out of a magazine:
Dior ‘Capture Totale’ High Definition Serum Foundation | Nordstrom
Diorskin ‘Forever’ Compact Flawless Perfection Fusion Wear Makeup SPF 25 | Nordstrom
Usually, when I try foundation on my hand…you can see really fine hair. With this…I saw nothing…even skin…no pores and completely even finish.
Unfortunately…its an arm and a leg for the two of them together so right now I am waiting until my makeup inventory is complete before splurging on myself.

The thing is when i was in kuwait last year i got myself BR20 in Vitalumiere Aqua but when i came back to pakistan my skin returned to normal (no tan) so this br20 started to luk dark on me. So now i tested BR10 and its my color. However last time the face highlighter pen/concealer i got was 20 and this time too the lady at chanel said this color suits me fine. Now i am confused because i came home and read on the net that the conealer should be lighter than the foundation. I have nt very visible dark circles and acne marks which r perhaps quite light too.
Re: foundation help
Thank you guys i'm going to try the Illamasqua and Dior one
Re: foundation help
The MAC ones are known to oxidize which is why it tends to go dark. What is your skin type? I know you want heavy coverage but did you try a lighter foundation and using concealer to cover blemishes?
Re: foundation help
MAC full coverage doesn't oxidize.
Re: foundation help
^Really? It did on me. MAC ones in general tend to be very yellow anyway.
Re: foundation help
Are you sure you tried Full Coverage (the one from the pro stores) and not Studio Tech? I have other MAC foundations and I can agree they oxidise, even in the container if you leave them long enough. Full Coverage was recommended to me by a MUA who did TV and print work as something easily accessible rather than professional foundations, for my wedding. It doesn't oxdise on me or anyone else I know who uses it.
Re: foundation help
I have normal skin M was here.
