I'm quite happy too with my husband, alhamdulilah, but my family isn't and they actually suggested this man for me.

I never had an ideal, never wanted to dream a lot. But oh yes, he is what i would call..compatible(alhumdulilah).

Never had a particular Ideal in my mind - however compatibility was big for me.
MashAllah I got my other half.. And in abroad as well and a Pakistani too !!
there is no ideal..u gotta deal with what u get..
isaat is more important than love..compatibility and anything else in our culture..

Zainy - neither did i, but when i met my other half then I realised he IS my ideal.. Im happy for u, getting married in pak is a big compromise and respect for the girls who can do it.

^ no i dont mind you asking :) but i think its really tough situation when you find him after a long long search, you see him, talk to him but cant have him. biggest reason i can give is MERI QISMAT :)

Maybe something more suitable is written in ur qismat.. not to worry, everything happens for a reason! I had problems but when something is meant to be, it'l happen. Just have to pray for what is best for you! :)

Me and my husband… are we compatible? I would say no 
We argue a lot and our likes/dislikes are a world apart. The way we would pass our time is also totally different, even the food we like is different :hinna:.
But we’re happy, alhamdulillah
