I was thinking of creating a website that would be a resource for Muslim women. The idea is to develop a community of Muslim women who can share information, work together for the better, and support one another. I would like to address many topics that are relevant to Muslim women including:
education
career
religion
current events
marriage
pregnancy
family/children
support
etc..
The idea is that although originally it would be a web community, it will grow into a real life community that will provide development and training for women, work together to hold events such as halaqahs, playgroups, fundraisers for social causes and social events. Do you know of anything out there right now that is doing this? Would any one be interested in such a concept?
How come only the guys have posted in here??? ANyway, I think its a wonderful concept...just want to know wat sorta base r u going to put in it...u know Muslim:::Subcategory Pakistani Muslim women based ...or just general...USA...Based or other countries...just my 2 cents...I say go for it girl!!!!
I was thinking of doing this site with a North American target market, not specific to Pakistani/Arab/etc.. but more general information.. that would be relevant to Muslims in the west. If you've seen a site like this please send me a link so I can check it out. Thanks..
its a good idea, go for it! But i think i have seen something like it before, i dont know the name of it right now but i will let you know once i remember or find it.
