forum customizations recommended..

acha ji.. few things..

  1. the way it says GupShup > GupShup Services > Feedback / GS Services Support Forum > forum’s customization recommended.. on the TOP of this thread, can you enable it for the bottom of thread as well ?

  2. in old version, the bottom of thread had drop down menu, by clicking ‘go’, it always took us to the forum’s display..for now we either gotta browse back upto the top and click from there, OR click on the menu, select the forum and then go back..

  3. can Features be given a break and started from a separate line? like quickies are?

  4. each reply contains RE: (by the page icon)

dont need it

Re: forum customizations recommended..

  1. Lets see.
  1. Back
  2. We wanted quickies to be in 2 rows maximum. Plus, it kinds looks nicer (personal opinion)
  3. Lets see.

In your "Edit Options", there is a field for subscription. Make it "Do Not Subscribe"

Re: forum customizations recommended..

  1. control panel on the left side, when reading/opening a pm really feels 'extra' since the profile and MAJOR options we will be using are hardwired on the PROFILE button on top of page.

  2. PMs have options (reply/fwd) on bottom..can it possibly be copied on TOP of the pm as well?

(and no, i'm not suggesting major tweaking of the look'n feel of this new system, just things that are more convenient)

  1. old world / new world.. i know, but can the thread-starter's name appear like old world? was kinda convenient.. i end up keep confusing the 'last posted by' nick with the thread starter and thread starter's with the last posted..

Re: forum customizations recommended..
