I went to Drawar a few years back. It was in a really bad state. It is crumbling away and nobody is prepared to maintain it as there is some kind of feud going on within the Nawab's family about succession (at least that's what I was told).
Beautiful! I hope oneday I will go back to Attock fort. My one of the favorite places of all time. Post some more if you have any. Please!!! Thanks for sharing.

been to darawar and attok forts........being in different setting altogether you cant compare them but they are both very good places to visit......

The really intersting fact about the attock fort is that this is main head quarter of the Pakistan SSG! There is where the SSG shers are trained! When you pass though on Pehsawar road, you sometimes see the cadets clibing the mountain several times a day!
