Hello to all brides 2 be!
How far are you into the preparation of your wedding? I get married in Sept and going on the hunt for my lengha soon! Really hope to find something stunning… Any shops you guys recommend (in the UK)?

Congratulations :) Dholi in green st have some stunning outfits both my sisters got their bridal lenghas from there. Also Mongos in Southall have some equally amazing lenghas happy shopping x

i went to birmingham and really didnt find anything wow there, i think khushboos by chand was good they had nice outfits!
after looking around here in the uk i have decided i will be getting my walima outfit from pakistan seeing as i will be going about 5 weeks before my wedding out there.
happy shopping though must add mongas in southall is really good :)

I have heard alot of about chaands. I am looking for the wow factor because I am very fussy, hope I find something here otherwise I may have to trip it down to Pak lol

so where r u getting married?
initially i was going to get my outfit from here too although everyone around me advised i should get it from pak but i just didnt want to wait 5 weeks before the wedding to get my walima outfit but after looking around i had to change my mind! i mean here u can get away with wearing whats in the shops but obviosly in pakistan everything is so up to date with fashion and quite frankly i dont want ot look like someone whose not with it lol!!!!

My mum just came back from Pak (lahore) and was telling me that they had stunning lenghas.. but iv seen pics on this site of pakistan lenghas and im not a great fan... lenghas here have more sparkle i reckon? Guess i would have to go and check it out for myself!
Are u gettin married in Pak? your very brave for waiting 5 weeks before ur wedding... not sure if i could! Im working so its hard 2 get away... Insh'Allah il find somethin here, probs cost me twice as much but hopefully it'l be worth it!!

im getting married end of july and flying out to pak early june!!
i know i have no choice but to resort to that to be honest havent really found anything wow here and everyone is saying i for sure will find something in pk. so i hope i do. im only going to be shopping for my walima outfit, in laws are getting the baraat ouitfit. i know the websites arent very good and to be honest i dont think looking online can justify an outfit anyway.

Mizz - Thanks hun, Insha'Allah! Hope you find a nice outfit, im choosing both barat and walima (in laws gave me that option) so more stress lol but its fun and enjoyable so no doubt it'l be exciting! x

Hey! I'm getting married next month inshAllah. I got all my clothes and lenghas from pakistan..now dealing with the itty bitty details!! And its so hard when you have exams at the same time =(
