i’ve recently introduced formula milk to my 6-month old son but he is getting constipated. im not feeding him formula milk, i just use it with his cereals or in his purees, is it normal for him to be constipated coz he’s taking in something new or should i stop giving him this milk?

formula can cause constipation but why don't you use breast milk into his cereals instead of formula, or just plain water? being introduced to foods on its own can also throw off their tummies so do one thing at a time. i'd say stop the formula and make his cereal either with bm or water instead.

Actually formula can make some babies constipated esp. if they were nursed before.
