heyy everyone its that time of the year again…Formal!! or better known as prom in canada and america. since im in aus mine wont be till november but i just got the date today 7th of november. but i need help choosing the colour. i know its far but i need to plan ahead lol.
the main problem is the colour. i think i want white..since not many ppl wear it and it goes well with my skin i’ve been told. any other good color suggestions..im not into the baby pink and blue everyone wears.
and also i’ll need it to be “appropriate” so any tips on how i can maybe lengthen the arms or buy a dress and have it done more appropriate. post pics if u have any.

I wore a lengha to both of my proms. The year 11 one was tea pink and the year 13 one was turquoise and light brown.

If you are in Australia, we have the best Arab shops to get decent western formal wear, you can try one of the shops.
My oldest one is going to have her formal at the end of the year too only she's in primary and going to High next year so it'll be cute

well yes i've considered that option..either lehnga or saari. but theres not many pakistani or indian girls at my school so i'll feel kind of left out. besides, i never get to wear dresses...lehngas i can wear all the time. so i wanna try something different.

u know i've seen arab girls wearing traditional prom dresses, but just have xtra fabric sewn in for the sleeves and gala and back..it actually looks quite nice.

If your dress is sleeveless or has skinny straps or something and you are looking for more coverage you can try finding a matching bolero or shrug

white may look too bridal -- maybe a platinum or slightly metallic shade would work. i went to prom and wore a royal blue velvet dress, didn't spend much on it, but wore a shrug to go with it.

since prom is coming up i was wondering where i can find a disney like prom dress…
like a princess. I looked all over and cant find one with all the beads and excessive stuff.
I want simple ball gown like cinderella..
any advice, or store where i can find my perfect junior prom dress.
I want to feel like cinderella.
i should also mention i am tall and slim.

I wore a black and white knee length dress which I bought from Coast. It was gorgeous! I'd say go for a dress! Hit the shops, you'll be spoilt for choice.
