I’m just trying to get some idea on what can I get for 28000 PKR for a formal Eid outfit. Because it will be in end of June it will be super hot, so I’m looking into lighter fabric that’s not net, I was suggested pure chiffon by someone. I’ve been chatting with an online Facebook seller, but whatever he/she is showing seems very high in price in terms of the quality/amount of work I am getting. My relative bought a similarly embroidered outfit from Tariq road in Karachi for 6000 PKR. I’m looking for impeccable fit and finish. (The FB designer is outlineglam women, if anyone has any experience let me know).
Any suggestion?
I’m well aware of some of the well known “designers” even in gupshup jacking up the price for foreign customers (one quoted me one price on Gupshup and jacked it up by 40% on WhatsApp when she saw my number being from US, in last ramadan, when called out on it I got nothing but bad attitude in return. I’m trying to avoid such drama).

Thanks,
Its normally not the amount of work that correlates with price but the quality of the material used as well as the workmanship and also if it is off the shelf design or a custom made one. I noticed a lot of (potential) client would compare market prices with the ones that are done for them (one off/exclusively). That's not the right comparison by any mean. Having said that, you should be able to get a decent enough outfit for the budget you have not something that looks like a 6k outfit.
have a look at Maria B Chiffon collection for eid or asim jofa just launched his fancy collection for eid....many other designers like Elan and Sana Safinaz are launcing fancy eid volumes...check that out
