I know Umer, as I said, it was a mix of self-pity and needing ideas that made me open this thread. The ideas people gave were all wonderful, except yours, of course :D as a Catholic, spells are a sin, lol

As a Muslim I am against them too. But if I had advised you to say some prayer in your way, then people must have started after my beard. Since you are a girl (at least on this forum) so you don't have such issues to face.

the chores, the daily stress of running a home will continue when they come back.

Daisy, Latter Day Saints don't want my sorry butt, apparently they took one look at my black strappy, spikey heels and called me a fallen woman even though they were worn under the burlap burke I wore to show my humility sigh
The circus wants me, not too sure if that is a good thing :( apparently they know of my juggling skills

Minah, there is a time and a place for heels, for going out, doing housework (helps reach those cobwebs in high corners) watching tv.... when there is nothing worth watching you can look at your feet, but definitly NOt when trying to juon the church for latter day saints.
you go back to that church, get yourself enrolled and then , my dear lady you can wearyour heels. ( you have to make your self pleasing to the eye of the man who will whisk you away to utah to become the 43rd wife of a an 98 year old)
As for the circus... i would read the small print if i were you..... I hera the knife thrower wants a new assistant.... as for the last one...what can i say.... there was aLOT of blood.

I watched a movie on ladies gathering to form a basketball team, some months back, so I thought both of you (if combined in a court) may pave the way for another movie based on some TRUE story.
As for heals, get some good shoes. Heals look odd these days.
So meenah what can you really do in circus? They also won't allow heals I guess.

Umer - the circus loves heels, some I have could qualify for stilts :D I also kick butt in those outfits though the only person to date that has seen one on me is my husband. AND bite your tongue, there is nothing like a good heel to make you feel real fine.
Croquet is more in my league than Basketball, besides less chances to chip a nail, you know?
Daisy - Umer is my pet project in the works, I had to add him to my prayer list for God to bless him with a sense of humor. See how far he has progressed with a little prayer and needling? :D

Minah, i have to agree with you about the heels..... there is something about the wa they make you feel! having said... your hubby is the onlky one to see you in those outfits and now he has run off to the mothership

For me heal is almost out dated. Most girls like joggers or some sort of soft shoes these days. For circus, however, heal is a definite choice.
Croquet is every where. Girls and even old women love it. I never get what's so interesting about it. Seems to me like a nonsense game.
Try to use some sort of kathirk as well for Daisy. They are really very effective, at least most women will tell you that. :)

George Michael eh… when I was a little thing back in mid or early 80’s …I spent my pocket money in buying Billboard album, which was released first time in Pakistan by billboard. But I was a big fan of him and also Billy Ocean as well. Sadly George disappeared from the singing screen. His songs can still beat singers of today. In fact he has no match. Careless whisper is one another of his hits.
