I guess that’s why they say forgiveness is divine. Allah attaches so much value to the attributes that are hard to practice such as patience and forgiveness.
How easy/hard is to forgive can depend upon the frequency and the gravity of the offense and maybe your level of emotional investment…and whether or not you received closure from the person who has hurt you, which doesn’t always happen, so you have to provide it for yourself by forcing yourself to move on. Easier said than done, I know.
