even prophet mohammad said enough is enough in one story that dealt with forgiveness…I remember it was mentioned in another thread about forgiveness so i think there is a line that shouldn’t be crossed by people, yes we’re human we will hurt others but hurting over and and over and then asking for forgiveness by giving gifts or flowers doesn’t give the person that hurts a chance to improve themselves or make them realize in a strong way that they need to make changes in themselves so they won’t cause pain in others anymore.
foregiveness after being hurt over and over again is basically similar to being in a sadistic/masochistic relationship where the the person being hurt is somehow giving the person inflicting them with pain a certificate that says " ‘Hit me again Ike! And put some stank on it!’"
