Re: Forgive
Who spend [in the cause of Allah] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people - and Allah loves the doers of good; **(134) surah Al I Imran
**
Do not have ill-will towards one another, do not be envious of one another, do not turn your back on one another; O, servants of Allah, be brothers (and sisters). It is not permissible for a Muslim to remain angry with their brother [in religion] for more than three days. (Bukhari)
And whoever is patient and forgives - indeed, that is of the matters [requiring] determination. (43) ****surah as shuraO you who have believed, indeed, among your wives and your children are enemies to you, so beware of them. But if you pardon and overlook and forgive - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. (14) surah at taghabun
Take what is given freely, enjoin what is good, and turn away from the ignorant. (199) surah Al A’raf
And let not those of virtue among you and wealth swear not to give [aid] to their relatives and the needy and the emigrants for the cause of Allah, **and let them pardon and overlook. Would you not like that Allah should forgive you? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. **(22)surah an nur (The ayat revealed for Hazrat abu bakr and for us obviously as well)
these all are the verses and many others, the perfect example of forgiveness by Prophet sallal laho alahe wassalam at the time of victory of makkah,
so as we want Allah to forgive us after so many sins, so we should be humble and forgive others. Though it becomes difficult sometimes, but becomes easy if it is only for the sake of ALLAH alone!!
