Oh here's an example. When you lead someone on for months and then dump that person for someone else without even telling that person and when that person finds out a while later, you tell that person to forget all and imagine you were never together. Just forget it / all. How convenient.

when my fiance and i are fighting over something useless and we usually say it to each other to calm each other down since its something trivial and shouldn't have started an arguement

i dont know whether one asking for it is relating this to honesty to Allah or not.. but this might be a result of weaker will power n lack of decision making over which the person feels sorry.. dont know mean it or not..

When any argument just seems to be going on and on without getting anywhere and the other person keeps insisting that he is right and i m wrong, even when everything is against his statement, i mostly end up saying "forget it" or should i say "whats the point!".

its a good way of ending useless discussions.
