Coincidence or luck I bought some stocks yesterday as NASDAQ has been going south.
All big caps and guess what I had a limit order to sell them but after the bell they all went up atleast 10 percent. After I got home the first thing I did was cancell all the sell orders and replace them with higher price. That is easy money, who else play the stock market here? Any gurus
I’ve lost about 700 pounds stirling on the stock market… at one point I was up 1300 pounds stirling… in fact, since Jan 2000 I’ve lost 2000 pounds stirling on the stock market… I’m sick of it now… it was all tech stocks…
stick to the topic

So whats new
Tech stocks were doing good till the end of 99 early 2000. I made 200 percent plus but guess what greed kicked in and I lost most of it late 2000. After the crash some of the tech stocks are a bargain specially after they are over sold due to fear.
I still have a large tech sector portfolio.
Specially after the rate cuts I believe the market will go back up gradually.
Good luck to you traders.
What do you guys do with the money market interest tht brokerage house give you for your cash on hand??? Afterall its prohibited to give or take interest on money??

I call it profit, after all it is profit coz its based on how the company is doing.
I know a friend who had holdings of over $3 million last year in options for high tech companies. Now hes down to less than a 10th of that and he has to sell soon or loose the options!!!.. As a friend once told, unless your a stockbroker, dont play the market unless you have the money to spare.
