Having arrived From The United States of America, I understand how it feels to be in a foreign city and the importance of discovering new experiences, and most importantly, meeting people, and building meaningful friendships and relationships. With all the NGOs, embassies, art, culture, theatre, universities, and outdoor activities around town, Islamabad can be a very exciting place to live. At the same time it is easy to feel overwhelmed and isolated if you venture away from your routine and circle of close friends. One of the primary goals of ICI is to make cultural, charitable, educational, and outdoor experiences more accessible and relevant in the lives of internationally-minded professionals in Islamabad and provide a safe, open, and friendly forum to share ideas and celebrate diversity.

The International Club of Islamabad will be an organization for internationally-minded professionals to share cultural experiences and meet like minded individuals in town. Some of the events ICI will organize include Cultural experiences and black tie galas at area embassies and hotels

Membership in the organization is free. Our inaugural event, which will be an ICI fundraiser, will be held in March of 2007. The main purpose of the ICI will be to provide community service to combat hunger in the disaster struck areas of Pakistan while organizing diverse events for our members.
