It seems that no matter how much we kiss USA back side they will never show us anything for it. President Nixon had said: It is dangerous being an enemy of the United States but it could be even more dangerous to be its friend!
US governments track record speaks for itself for what they did to their babies like Saddam, Taliban, Musharraf etc. Even their most staunch ally in the region- family of Saud- isn’t getting much attention from them after US got hold of the Iraqi oil reserves. I think family of Saud has its days numbered too but thats another topic.
My main question to readers is: Should Pakistan realign itself with its more natural allies like Iran, Tukey, and that should open the doors to Russia, Lebanon, Syria etc. I feel our only loyal friend at the moment is China but when it comes time for real help, its not that forthcoming (which is fair enough i guess). I think our country will be much more united under allies such as Iran and Turkey. I know it will not be an easy step but we couldn’t be far worse than where we are at the moment i.e. a lost land!
China will remain our friend because the only reason they are interested in us is our enemity towards India which i guess is ever lasting!
