Salam everyone! I want to travel during my 28th week of pregnancy , but i wanna know that before how many weeks of delivery i can register my name in foreign hospitals?? Do they accept me in my 29th week of pregnancy? Is it good to live abroad with husband in this pregnancy situation or its better to live here in karachi at mum’s place ?
Re: Foreign hospitals
Where is "abroad" for you?
Re: Foreign hospitals
Hubby shifted to singapore now..Therefore i wanna go there.
Re: Foreign hospitals
I'll be having my little one in Sydney inshAllah. I rang teh hospital to ask about registering and was told that there was no need (her exact words were "if you're having a baby then you're having a baby, we'll have to accept you lol). But this may have something to do with the fact that i am an Aussie citizen maybe. I'll visit the hospital with my medical records as soon as i reach sydney inshAllah.
Perhaps you could contact the hospital you wish to be having your baby at.
As for hubby vs Mum, its a tough one. Any woman would want to share the moment with her husband, but perhaps post birth you may need your Mum, particularly if you're a first time Mum. i know i would freak out if i had to take care of my first born without the help/ support of my Mum/ MIL.
Re: Foreign hospitals
i had my baby at 35 weeks and hadn't gotten around to registering (I'm in the US). It wasn't a problem.
