Barring a few unfortunate cases, Christians and Hindus are safe and sound in Pakistan. Sindhi Hindus do not even allow Muslims to visit their temples. Just try to visit their temple in Clifton or Saddar and you will be very rudely stopped as they say it will make the place "unclean." Now try doing that, as a Hindu, in India where everyone is welcome in mosques and there are no restrictions. Even if someone tries to stop you, there will be a huge outcry and you will have many dead Muslims that very day.
Also, the post above has clearly set the record straight that Christian population is increasing in Pakistan. This also means the missionaries are converting Muslims to their faith.
Hindus and Christian are not exactly safe and sound in Pakistan. You have failed to point out that dozens of Hindu girls are abducted and forcefully converted to Islam every week in interior Sindh. I know there are restrictions for non Hindus to enter temples but it's for safety measures. Churches are starting to do that as well. We cannot have Islamic extremists bombing churches and temples. We already faced a few unfortunate incidents when terrorists massacred many people inside a few Churches in Pakistan.
Even the constitution fails to treat us as normal citizens. Why can't non Muslims become President or PM of Pakistan?
^ 1947, have u ever visited bara markets of Peshawar and met Sikh businessmen there?
No but I wish I met the Sikhs that were beheaded in NW Pakistan. Or the Sikhs that were given special labels to put on themselves like the Nazis did to the Jews.

Yaar, the Sikh (Singular) who was beheaded, and the Sikhs who were ordered to wear labels, were victims of Taliban terrorists. Hardly reflective of the general population or the general attitude of tribesmen and Pasthuns towards them. Its also a fact that these people have lived this long in Peshawar and the FATA, despite the fate of their Punjabi counterparts who were slaughtered on their way to India. Its testament to the tolerance of their Pashtun neighbors. The crimes that you speak of are an anomaly in the centuries that these Sikhs have lived in the region.

Where are the news reports of the alleged abduction of those dozens of girls every week? I am sorry but your claim seems an over-exaggeration of the highest degree.
And Muslims were stopped from entering temples even before 9/11 and all that propaganda of Islamic extremism.

It is not truth. I have went many temples without any restritions. Because of mqm terrorism, they might have put restrictions to avoid bloodshed in the temples. Do you know what was Sabil Wali Masjid before partition? Guru Mandir, yes the famous bus stop of Karachi it still exists, was defaced and converted to Masjid by force. And do you want me tell you who did it?

I am totally against MQM but I will not second your allegations here. Just so you know, the entire mosques of East Punjab have been converted into what not. And Hindus do not leave mosques of areas where Muslims are still living. What are you talking about really?
And if you are a Muslim, try visiting the Clifton mandir and tell me if you were allowed to enter. The old Hindu chowkidar there used to use a very colorful language for Muslims. I don't know if he is still there.

You are totally against mqm but you want division of Sindh according to muhajir vs sindhis areas why???? Are you the fifth columinst who always want anarchy? Are you involved in chalking separate Karachi from Sindh very recently?? You hate Sindhis, Muhajirs perhaps every one here, what kind of ugly racist are you???

Ha, look at the bigotry of Sindhis. They are shouting the loudest for the division of Punjab but when one dares mention Sindh, they spill the most potent venom.
May I suggest you also look at your Sindhi brethren's talk in that thread where they are openly calling for a genocide of Mohajirs.
You did not have anything to say while remaining on topic and you brought another thread into discussion. It was a clever idea but has backfired. Good though that you are badly exposed. I don't want to argue with fascist nuts. I can only pray that may Sindh be divided soon and may all religious groups live in harmony in the new geographical units. Amen!

What are you talking about? If it is done it will be with consent of people from Punjab. Now go wash your face because it has become black due to racism you are spreading here.

Pot calling the kettle black. Good that you are badly exposed. This topic was about forced conversions but you brought a totally different topic under discussion as you were dumbfounded to reply on that thread as well as on this thread. In every language, that is called a cowardly behavior. In online forums, it is called a total lack of manners as if you had the guts, you should have replied on the original thread.
Since you are totally exposed, I do not want to even look at whatever insane and bigoted reply you will post.

and perhaps you never met those hindus that excel in medicine, law and finance in Karachi? Why look at only one side of the picture?
I agree with you as far as interior Sindh is concerned. There are mass violations of human rights there and those are not restricted to a particular religion. People of all religions are exploited there.
I also agree with you on the constitution issue. Yes, it is discriminatory and needs amendment.

Kakaballi
I am not sure if there is are such problem for Hindus in interior sindh, at least on base of my knowledge of Sukker and Tharparker region, mostly sindhi hindus are rich businessman, they are not victim of discrimination but as common law and order problem in Pakistan they are regularly targeted but armed robbers and kidnap for ransom. But that has nothing to do with their religion.

I thought this is what I said. There are law and order and human rights issues in interior Sindh, but the victims are not restricted to a particular religion.

Sorry I missed that one.
