i think imran farhat or salman butt is the better replacement of him or shahid afridi is the better option than him…iis purchi ko dhukay mar ker nikalo:@
After watching today's match, I don't know.
So will the management include Hafeez in the test team by looking @ his performance against Bangladesh in test or by looking @ his performance against South Africans in one dayers.
Whats the situation on Taufeeq Umar.
We desperatly need a left-right combo.
Yasir Hameed must open as well, he did well on #3 against Bangladesh but Hameed should open along with Taufeeq if avalaible.
We need to include a specialist batsman in the middle order, and please no more allrounders, they are hardly decent bowlers and pathetic batsmen.
Lets only stick to 5 specialist batsman, 4 Specialist bowlers, 1 allrounder & Wicket keeper.
today inzi made sure in the press conference that Hafeez wont be considered any more for Pakistan team....he also said that "he was just included to fill the gap of the 6th bowler, and his consistant failure as a batsman has cost us the series"...
If they really need a sixth part time bowler then wuts the problem with imran farhat who performed very well in the side match against S.A. in both departments (bowling & fielding)....but didnt given a chance to perform in real match where he can prove his abilities & wut could inzamam do if the bluddy hell chief selector likes him so much because of his purchi

The problem is...the the PCB has given the the full authority to the selection commity on selecting the final IX.
How do u expect the captain to win u a match if he cant even chose his own players.
We have such a ****ed up management....so many carreers destroyed cause of it.
i dont think that this is the case....selection committee just selects a number of players (14 or 16) and give it to coach and captain....it is then upto them to decide, who plays a match and who doesnt...
Mike Haysmen asked Aamir during 4th ODI, that since Hafeez is not performing well, why is he still in the team....to which he replied, that before this, many players were given a chance for 1-2 matches, and if they didnt perform, they were sacked...and ppl raised fingers on us that we dont give them ample chance...he also added that as a chief selector, it is his responsibility that every player gets enough matches to play before being sacked, so he or the public dont get to complaint....
i totally agree with Aamir Sohail in this..

Did he really say that in press conference?
its too low
what did he have to say about his own inclusion in last one day when he was not fully fit? he occupied a seat of batsman and became burden on the team … booooooo

if this is the matter then wuts the problem he got with imran nazeer n salman butt which r allowed only to play one match then never called back n atleast imran farhat must be called once to show his ability
if he allowed to have a runner then u might not say this n there is no better replacement of him although he is not fully fit
Pakistan in disarray after one-day series defeat
One week ago, Pakistan were full of confidence following a clean sweep over Bangladesh and enjoying a 2-0 lead in the one-day series against South Africa.
But after three straight defeats the Pakistanis are suddenly in disarray.
**Captain Inzamam-ul-Haq is doubtful for the two-test series against South Africa and a late-night binge by two players before the final one-dayer has again raised question marks over the team’s discipline. **
**“It was disappointing to lose three matches in a row and the series in this way. We were not expecting it to end this way. But I think injuries to key players affected our performances,” Inzamam told Reuters on Monday. **
“I hope the fitness problems are over by the time the tests start and we need to now pay special attention to our batting and will need more experience for them,” he added.
Inzamam has been struggling with a hamstring injury that forced him to miss the third and fourth matches and made him a virtual passenger on Sunday.
However, the signs that Pakistan’s batting remains brittle were visible even against Bangladesh when the hosts twice conceded a first-innings lead. Only Inzamam’s hundred gave Pakistan a one-wicket win in the final test.
Against South Africa in the last two games, Pakistan managed totals of just 157 and 192 and their opening stands in the series were 18, 19, 52, 11 and three.
Mohammad Hafeez, the only player to appear in all 22 one-dayers and three tests played by Pakistan since the World Cup, is almost certain to be dropped.
Before the SA series, the 23-year-old had scored 386 runs in 17 matches and his stock bowling and brilliant fielding made him a valuable member of the side before scores of five, seven, 20, one and zero against the South Africans.
**“We backed him because we didn’t want to change a winning combination,” Inzamam said.
“We selected him because he is also our sixth bowler and an outstanding fielder. But now with these performances I don’t think he is going to play again for Pakistan,” Inzamam said. **
**However, Inzamam was at a loss to explain the presence of fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar and all rounder Shoaib Malik at a fashion show late on Saturday evening at an Islamabad hotel. **
“Our curfew timing is 1100 pm. I think they were back then but if anyone breaks the discipline, action will be taken against him,” Inzamam said.
It is not an ideal situation for Pakistan going into a tough series against a team they have beaten just once in nine tests.
I feel sorry for Hafeez. He was given lots of chances to prove himself but I guess he took everything for granted. Now that he is gone, I think Imran Nazir, Taufeeq Umar, Sulman Butt, and Imran Farhat should be given chances. And so the opening problems for Pakistan goes on...
I guess Taufeeq is injured but i would like to see Elahi vs. SA opening with Hameed
Elahi has very impressive one day record with 4 centuries and 7 ffitets averaging at 36 runs from his 40 games ... by Pak batting avg .. this way above average .. and he did not a get cahnce! go figure tahn again its dumbass and dumberass PCB run by clown-higness Ta-queer and AA MEER (Ja) Sohail...
i think nazir also got enough chance, and he failed to prove himself worthy of the team...

that doesnt mean u keep persisting with the same guy even if he is continously failing @ the top order.
inzi is rite, hafeez's failure was one of the reason we lost, but not just that. last 2 games, the other batsmen dint show up either. also apart from shoaib n sami, we dint have any one else who would give us crucial breakthroughs n not to forget our pathetic feilding at times.
if i have to pinpoint on the biggest reason of the losses, i'd say it was the sitters we dropped involoving important SA batsmen.
The Game Responds:
*Some of you guys just act like sheep. Seriously. Hafeez is not a bad cricketer; he is very limited in his batting I admit, but if he can learn to work well within that, he can be very useful. Everybody knows he had a horrible time in the series, but Inzimam shouldn't be making such idiotic comments("But now with these performances I don't think he is going to play again for Pakistan..."). He could have just encouraged him to do well in the domestic circuit and force his way back in; the comment he made sounds very harsh. And please don't anyone mention Elahi and his so called above average record; the guy is a fanny. Really.*
