some of whom by the way make fun of me when i say Qeema instead of Keema
why do they make fun of you?? the proper way of pronouncing minced meat in urdu IS qeema and NOT keema.

jaypur rather Jaipur si the capital city of Rajasthan state (province) UP is rather was one state which was divided in UP & UC ( uttar pardesh & uttaranchal)

May be your grandparents are from **Jhansi **which is in UP. Its a very famous place.

Nope, not jhansi.
Mainly from Aligarh at least (as far as I know). I feel the place starting with ‘J’ is probably some place in/around Aligarh.
