The shooting of ‘Star Trek: X - Nemesis’ is now halfway done, according to a new production update at the official site.
Most scenes taking place on the Enterprise-E Bridge are complete and the main cast is now scheduled to shoot on other on-board locations. This month, filming will be done in Romulan and Reman sets, including on Shinzon’s ship.
I am also including the first set photo of Star Trek X. It shows Picard (pat stewart) talking to Geordi (levar Burton) while Troi (Marina Sirtis) sits on the captains chair.
This movie is going to be great, since its an even numbered trek movie. Legend has it that all the odd numbered movies tend to be cursed and the even ones are really good!
Data, my favourite TNG character might actually die in this movie. Rick Berman said that data’s character cannot go on like the Spock character since he is an android, and cannot grow old. However, I still think that Data, can go on for two more movies…
Spock (Leonard Nimoy) might actually make a guest appearance in this movie. His character has been kept alive for 35 years now. He also appeared in a Next Generation episode where he goes to Romulus and stays underground. Since this character involves Romulans, I bet hes going to be involved.
The movie is going to be released in November.
