for those, who have watched BOL

Re: for those, who have watched BOL

^because I haven't...is that the full plot?

Re: for those, who have watched BOL

Such a depressing movie it was man

Re: for those, who have watched BOL

A good movie maker will deliver the message in a way that it'll allow you think, read and interpret the characters and messages in your own, more than one way. But Shoaib Mansoor by and large just goes with the same old stereotyping and all in your face message. Yes his movies are gold compare to our usual Gujjar crap but I really don't want to see this man and his work becoming the face of our cinema. His movies are more like depressing documentaries than stories with strong characterization.

Re: for those, who have watched BOL

yeah..

didn't feel that.. or maybe.. its a sort of art movie.. which can not necessarily be liked by everyone!! but I do like art movies!!

Re: for those, who have watched BOL

Because moulvis are a major reason for the downward spiral that our society is in. They have an interest in keeping the public backward and narrow minded.

Disclaimer: I have not seen the movie.

Re: for those, who have watched BOL

watch it first.. :chai:

Re: for those, who have watched BOL

assumption is correct

Re: for those, who have watched BOL

An excellent movie which raises very poignant questions in the viewers mind and shows the mirror to the society. Queen_24 you are disturbed because the movie has made you think. As Steve Jobs said, think for yourself and don't accept dogma without questioning.

Re: for those, who have watched BOL

na hi Bol daikhi hay aor na hi Ghalib :(

Re: for those, who have watched BOL

Re: for those, who have watched BOL

yeah!! really!

Re: for those, who have watched BOL

Islam ko hum KHUDHI bura banatay hain meri behan, aur jab wohi kaam aik film mein dekhaye jatay hain to humko ghussa charta hai. Islam bura nahin hai, na usko bura dekhaya ja sakta hai. Uski interpretation zaroor ghalat ki ja sakti hai aur interpretation hi ghalat dekhayi ja sakti hai. Mera yeh kehnay ka mutlab tha.

Re: for those, who have watched BOL

hm.. got your point.. but dont you think, people who do it unintentionally and who do INTENTIONALLY, are too different..
for eg; in denmark.. the unacceptable sketches were made of our holy personalities.. and we strongly went against it...
so..... can it happen, in a near future, the Muslims film a movie and show that too?? cast to Muslim hogi..... but hum to sirf dikhaa rahay hain??
so?? is it right??

I believe, jesa indians dikhanay lagay hain ke apnay hi bhagwan ko bura bhi keh dete hain serials main, shayad Muslims bhi itnay broad minded ho gaye hain ke sochtay hain "to kiya?? hum film hii to bna rahay hain"
thats not right!! I dont like it when I see our Muslim actors do like "pranaam" "namaste" and pair choona in films....... thinking......... naqli to hay sab!! recently, i watched MERE BROTHER KI DULHAN, kaee dafa Ali Zafar touched his feet..... why?? jabke un scenes ki KOI zaroorat bhi nahin thee!!

Re: for those, who have watched BOL

Because the Molvis, Mualanas and Imams are the ones that carry the message of Islam to the masses. The public looks to these figures for guidance and direction. If they cannot be corrected, there isn’t much hope left for the rest. When you attack a problem…you generally try to get to the source. Religious figures are our source of information, influence what we do and how we think.

He is shocking your senses…and he succeeded.

I don’t think this movie had anything to do with sensitivity.

Re: for those, who have watched BOL

shocking my senses by delivering rubbish??
