Someone I know is hoping to travel to Pakistan with a 7 week old baba-and I personally think that’s quite young, but then that’s my personal opinion due to vaccinations/weather/etc etc.
Out of curiousity I was wondering what age people recommend/have experience of taking a baby to Pakistan from UK? Is 7 weeks too young or am I imagining it?
Also, aside from the baby vaccinations a baby has what other vaccinations would a baby need to travel to Pakistan-I’m assuming it would be the same as an adult however I’m not 100% sure.
Any advice or personal experience/stories would be great. The family would travel to Hyderabad (Sindh) if that makes any difference.
hmmm....the only thing i'd be concerned about is the sudden exposure to alot of new strains of germs and the extreme pollutants....but its not like the baby will be eating gol guppay or chaat from the local thaily waalas so i guess no worries as long as mom doesn't get sick or and transfer some sort of hapititus to baby through her milk. i'd also be curious about the baby's vaccinations...and oooh TB might be a concern?
Re: For those who have taken babies to Pakistan from the UK-advice please
Yeah I guess the baby is drinking formula milk so bottled water for that would be the solution. What about the weather? If you a baby goes from a cold envionment into a hot country doesn't that effect their health?! I'm an adult and I still get ill when I go over, even though I take care of myself!
